Space Pen https://history.nasa.gov/spacepen.html, there a myth that NASA spent a million dollars to make a space pen and Russians just used pencil when in reality it was a pen company called "Fisher of the Fisher Pen Co." that made the pens and NASA didn't spend any money to make the pens just bought 400 units for $6 each, also Russia used the pens too
I wanted to show the irony of America thinking Russia would think that's he's an idiot for not using pencils when in reality Russia thought he's an idiot to think it was still a good idea to use a pencil over a space pen
