Sweden had a colony in America called New Sweden and was first neutral country to recognize America as independent nation even before Britain did
Sweden is like America's "honorary uncle"
Though that is my theory how colonization works the main/most influential are the "parents" while secondary countries are "aunts/uncles" like England is America parent because colonized the most land in the east coast and Sweden and Netherlands are uncle/aunt because they colonized just a small part in East Coast
@AmericanButterfly I guess England is the only ex-colonizer whom America treats as a relative. Even France who played a vital role in America's history isn't considered by him as his mom. Just a friend and partner
@AmericanButterfly yea, I know. You said your hc's and I said mine
But I think if it ever occures to Sweden to say to America that he's his uncle, boy will just punch him in the face for it
