Considering that America used to live off the east coast of North America near the Atlantic ocean as a child, it's highly likely that he was tanned.

@AmericanButterfly Humon's already said there's only soft canon. She just can't think over all the details. For example, I hc female counterparts of counties to not have periods cause I hc countries to be born in a non-biological way. It doesn't mean Humon has to think the same way
