A Future
I wanted to draw NASA as an adult I imagine this is centuries in the future like 2530 or something like that NASA and other space agencies have successfully colonies Mars, though NASA himself looks like he has seen better days, he now has a robotic eye that can see all the way to Earth and robotic arm and scars and a bit of his ear missing, despite all this he's not "future villain he's still the lovable space-loving nerd just older and more badass looking, and yes that is a real tree in his room, he still has the same toy rocket he had as a child

Icelandic place names may sound exotic, but they're usually not very creative. Example: The most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss, just means "falling falls"
