Something about the composition (the drops from the wineglass, the left eye being barely covered by the eyeglasses, the hand near the eye...) makes it so that I can only think of this image as "France trying to use wine as eye drops"... =)

And that's not intended as a bash on this very nice picture!

The only "flaw" I can find here after close inspection is that the first bone in her fingers (counting from the hand-end) is a bit short for real human proportion. That said, the medium is a cartoon, so true-to-life proportion isn't an expectation at all. You evaluate them more on how expressive they are than anatomical accuracy.





(If anything, I'm a bit confused as to what's happening here. Why is she pouring out wine, or is she just looking up at her glass as though surprised it's empty? Is she drunk enough that someone told her there was a secret message written on the bottom of the wine glass, and she turned it over to check?)
