Feliz Navidad I wanna wish you a merry Christmas
I wasn't planning on drawing anything for Christmas for SatW but I wanted to draw Mexico and America on a snow date, inspired by my own family tradition of eating Mexican food on Christmas eve (we used to do it Christmas day but over the years we eat and open gifts on the eve) anyway Mexico is visiting America in one of his snowy states and playfully threw a snowball at him. Mexico wearing ear muffs and a hat covering the ear muffs and coat with faux fur. and America wearing his coat from "the thing" comic. I didn't know what his front looked like so I made something up. I gave him an earflap hat. the light teal was the placement color until I can change it but I just liked it so much that I decided America should have a teal hat cause why not. also, Fluffynator is back in his adorable Christmas doggy sweater. I was thinking about how to work Mexico's eagle into her coat design and decided the zipper pull tap should be the eagle and I gave America a star zipper pull tap. I like to imagine they had a little snow fight with the dog trying to catch and eat the snowballs and then went the frick back inside and drank some hot cocoa and warmed up
