Fire Season
The summers here in the Casacade range as well as our buddies in the South Pacific, Australia, suffer from some of the worst fire seasons on the planet. Seems only fair to make this as a hypothetical comic if Cascadia were ever represented in this.
Hoping if we ever see it happen, "Brother Cascadia" is meant to look like bigfoot wearing a rolled-sleeve shirt, considering the high hipster population among all of the city centers.

The Doomsday Seed Vault on Svalbard has over 21,500 cannabis seeds in it. That means that there are more seeds in there for weed than there are for aspargus, blueberry and raspberry, for example.
Victorian pudding: Before the Victorian times the christmas pudding was actual a staple of the British diet, it was a way of preserving meat, and was only became confectiony during Victorian times.
