Syria

Has only appeared in one comic, https://satwcomic.com/denmark-the-artist/ Oddly enough, he is seen there fighting Iran, despite their governments being allies at the time the comic was written. In said comic, he and Iran set aside their differences to go after Denmark for "blaspheming the Prophet". In the 20th and 21st centuries, traditions stating it is taboo to ever depict the prophets of Islam became the mainstream view among Muslims. There are other traditions that used to be more common, in which depicting them are okay as long as it is done respectfully and without the intention of bringing people to worship the prophets instead of Allah, but those traditions are now often under violent attack from other Muslims. In any case, Denmark's depiction of the Prophet Muhammad in the comic was extremely disrespectful, depicting him as a terrorist with a turban that is also a bomb. Iran and Syria chase Denmark as Iran burns the Danish flag. America asks them if they wish to do something, referencing then contemporary tensions between the Syrian and Iranian governments of the time and the USA as well as American military interventions in the Middle East - but the two tell him to go away as they are focused on Denmark. The comic is based on the real life debate on what are the acceptable bounds between critiquing religion and just being insulting, as Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten hosted a contest on drawing the Prophet Muhammad as a response to the debate on self-censorship and criticism of Islam, leading to widespread anger and boycotts of Denmark throughout the Muslim world. Oddly enough, Syria at the time was headed by a secular government. Since that comic, that government has been overthrown and the flag changed.
