In the begin (from the year 1809-1899) When Finland was Grand Duchy of Finland situation was very good even better than be east part of Swedish Kingdom ;

Governor-General Nikolai Bobrikov became the personification of the subsequent Russification practices, and was widely hated. That is true that the Soviet Union was the first who recognized Finland as an independent country.
As you know there was two parts in civil war "REDs were sosialist helped by Soviet Union and WHITES were non-sosialist. Soviet Union supplied whit weapons REDs and Germany helped WHITEs.
At that time there was also Russian solders in Finland and they helped REDs. Whites won and after that Russian solders left Finland. If REDs would have won, Russian solders would be even today in Finland and Finland would not be today an independent country. So, WHITES victory was necessary
that Finland could started as an independent country. There was a little same kind of aspect in Finnish Civil war and war in Ukraine today. Russia Helped REDs and (RED and Russia solders) fought together in same side and in the other side was Whites and Germany.
