1. Russia - Yes, lots of awful stuff happend there. And I'm pretty sure that most of - at least the Western - world have blamed Stalin and found his actions repulsive. I'm pretty sure he was hated even during the 2. World War. But yeah, it's true that there isn't much shame to find there in the same way as with Germany. We often judge and blame Russia for things ........ Russia just chooses to ignore us.
3. Japan - Yes, lots of awful things there as well. But that was in Asia so no one in the West cares. I'm not saying that it's right! It's just how it is ... it had no effect on us and so our leaders don't care to bring it up :S We're sort of stupid like that
