Well, 1: No, not according to us Danes ourselves, anyway. If you ask a Swede or a Norweigan, then yes. If you ask a Dane, then no. And I have no idea where the idea comes from. But Danes do agree that our accent is very flat and plain and...well...boring. XD
2: Yes, we were invaded. But we also let the Nazis in as we knew they liked us and we took that to our advantage - after having fought them just a little bit to at least show we weren't completely with them. I mean, Denmark is a LOT smaller than Germany and it's the only country that connects to ours by land. We really DIDN'T wanna fuck with them more than necessary.
3: It really depends on the individual Dane, really. We see some of our extended family members often, while others, pretty rare. For example, my parents, brothers and myself see my oldest sister, her husband and their two children sometimes, and we also see my other sister, her boyfriend, her daughter and his two children sometimes. On the other end, we don't see our mother's youngest big brother and his family very often, pretty rare actually. And her oldest big brother, we pretty much never see. I've only seen him twice in my life, last time about a month ago or so.
It really does depend on the individual Dane and their individual family members.
I hope I provided you with useful answers;)
