And while he did believe Masturbation lead to Insanity (a common belief for much of the past), his invention of the Corn Flakes was actually the result of food-experimentation. He believed that meat caused lots of health problems so he was a vegitarian and so looked for alternative foods.
His brother noticed that this was popular and started selling it as a cereal.
