Strange isn't it, that Germany imported the idea of the Sauna from Finnland so many years ago, and now it has become almost as accepted, or even revered here as in Finnland.

Oh, and btw, the towels should be underneath so you don't get sweat on the wood (the stains are terrible to get out).
So no clothed sauna'ing here.
Especially since some of the synthetic yarn used in bathing clothes does have a tendency to shrivel in heat (excessive of 90°C) which does happen in some saunas. So you might be in for a surprise if you get up after a long sauna tour and find the elastic in your bathing suit or swim trunks 'suddenly' loose all tension. You have been warned. ;-)
Oh, and it's unhygienic, too.
