KRyptic, if you learn Norwegian, you'll be able to get written Danish and spoken Swedish reasonably well. Basically it's spoken Swedish, spelled like Danish. Obviously, there are a few more differences, but it's not far from the truth. After learning Norwegian, and I wasn't even fluent, just proficient, I could follow along with Swedish conversations (I later learned Swedish, so now I can read it, too), and Danish newspapers (I've never studied Danish at all, so I still can't understand them when they talk).
