A sauna doesn`t nessecarily need to be inside a house. In Finland we have portable saunas (sauna boats, sauna trucks etc.) and a sort of festival for them...because who would want to travel without a sauna?

No, really, most of them are created for fun or because aquiring the permisson to build one to the yard would be annoying.
I think it just shows how much we love our saunas.
