@ryttyr It's a term for something that on the surface appears to be complementary, but when examined it's actually insulting. Like telling someone that a new dress makes them look skinny- it implies that without said dress they look fat. Telling someone that you hope they find a way to use an ability productively carries the implicit implication that you think that they're wasting it. Didn't think you actually meant it that way.
