@VinnyHavoc The Juan de Fuca Strait is about as wide as the Salish Sea. If you can see one, you should be able to see the other. I can understand if people think it's attached at the North end, because those are some narrow passages, but there's no reason to think that the Olympic Peninsula simply carries on through the Island.
