So were they, where I live.
But mussels have become quite expensive, they're no longer the poor guy's meal.
Rabbit is still affordable, luckily. I prepare it flambéed with gin (or a similar spirit, I like it wit Norwegian Linie akvavit) then cooked in dark beer (usually a very dark Trappiste), thick cut bacon, carrots etc... And you, how do you like it ?
As for snails, the real "petit gris" has become rare and expensive. Times are changing...
