"why are there still spiders?"

I've asked that question millions of times. seriously, we wiped out the dodo, the tasmanian tiger the atlas bear, the great auk, the big eared hopping mouse, among dozens of others, but we still haven't wiped out spiders, the one animal that people actually dislike.... seriously we wiped out something as cute as the big eared hopping mouse (think a tiny big eared kangaroo with a brush tail) but we can't wipe out spiders???? come on humanity priorities
