@ShoggothOnTheRoof Exactly. Stigmatisation and consequences for reporting has an enormous impact on how many will actually report a rape (I expect that in countries where Dubai, where reporting rape will get you stoned for "extra-marital sex" will have an incredibly low rate of accusations).
Also, Sweden has broadened their definition of rape. Obviously, if they include grabbing in their statistics but, say, South Africa don't, then Sweden will have many more instances than SA. It's just. I am so sick of people using these statistics when you might as well get Germany's magic invertebrate to point out which country is worse.
