@brokizoli that's kinda the opposite, if men and women are truly equal in society then there should be a relatively even number in professions that aren't reliant on something with a drastic biological difference, and even then they should reflect the relative difference that biological difference does in theory.
Point is, drastic divides in areas where cross-cultural analysis puts men and women within one standard deviation of each other (aka pretty everything that isn't a direct physical strength thing) suggests drastic differences in at least how men and women are socialized even if explicit legal discrimination isn't there.
