Pro-Western States like USA, France, West Germany, Japan, and UK were first world
Pro-Soviet States like USSR, North Korea, Cuba, and East Germany (Warsaw pact states and PROC are included) were second world
and everyone who wasn't either like India, Indonesia, Switzerland, and Iran were third world
Which is rather funny as Sweden and Switzerland were technically third world nations.
