I'm sorry but what does that have to do with anything?
So many seem to start the line accusing liberals of......something, in this case religion?
Allow me to quote you what liberalism is based on.
"Liberalism is a political philosophy or worldview founded on ideas of liberty and equality. Whereas classical liberalism emphasises the role of liberty, social liberalism stresses the importance of equality. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but generally they support ideas and programmes such as freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, free markets, civil rights, democratic societies, secular governments, gender equality, and international cooperation."
So yeah...you are saying you do not like those things? Because without wanting to insult it seems like you are just repeating what politicians have shouted, even if it is true or not. The values US holds so dearly according to most US people I know, are liberal views. I highly suggest you do your own research and realise the word and the meaning you seem to imply it has, might not actually be real, words don't change just of a few using them wrongly.
Also take note, the link is paywalled, so there is no way to verify this post, date or such. the UK has only just this last week decided this, so if anything it means that what they did before they decided to brexit gave them a strong economy, what they are going to do now? we will see.
