The wealth of a nation ultimately derives from its production, which is accomplished by the private sector. If private sector jobs are paying well, then they must be profitable, which means they are producing well. If the private sector is producing well, then the country is economically fine.

The GDP is growing last quarter by roughly the median amount for the past few years, although not as well as it was previously.
