@Myrica No, it is not illegal in Iceland, we can even have bananas on our (homemade) pizzas if anybody wants to... (not sure if the Pizza-places offer bananas as "put-on choose". Many have bananas on bread. (put-on is me trying to translate the icelandic word "Álegg" - that is what we call anything that is put on top of a bread or pizza...) Valurjarl is icelandic too, so no, neither one of us is "not up to date" There has never been any law in Iceland that forbids you to put anything (i.e. pineapple, apple, sausage, egg...) on top of a pizza or for that matter bread.
