@Kraken Listen. I never said it was acceptable. You really think a person like me would say that's acceptable?

But you want a war? Do you really want them to be mad and throw a fit? You know that they're trigger happy and they don't care about the people who would die in a war. You know that if we keep poking them we're only making the situation worse for their people as well.

So what do we do? We're trying to TALK with them into reunification. We try to negotiate. But we NEVER try to push them into being more aggressive. The more we push them the more they'll threaten peace, and the bleaker the future for their people. USA is making talking super difficult, sadly.

When I said "leave them be", I meant "not poke at them"- if this is the reason to your comment then I'm sorry for the way I expressed it. Yes, this sounds like a sorry excuse. However, this is really what I was trying to say.

Truthfully, though, since nobody has any idea how to deal with North Korea currently, mostly we're trying to NOT make the situation worse for their people.

"Wake up, people."
Look, you are the one who(presumably, if your idea was to use force) has no idea how to deal with a country like this. A country as insane as North Korea, you don't deal with force with force. Two violence only leads to war. North Korea's only going to get even madder the more aggression we use. Am I wrong?

This is a situation that must be dealt with wisely. We must remember that we can't always do what we feel like doing. What is best for their people, and what will have the least damage? Outright threats and violence will only increase their regime's anger and thus, their abuse of their people as well. A person like Trump is actually making the situation worse for everyone.

Your example of an abusive household? Great example, that's one of the cases where people need to think carefully what they are doing. One wrong move and that "iron grip" might turn even stronger. Same for North Korea, since this time the "man" can harm everyone OUTSIDE his house as well.
