Merry Ukrainian Christmas 25 12, 7:38am

@Rovarin

That might be true in the (I believe?) more religious Faroes.

In Sweden the rule is more that Christmas Eve (the whole day) is spent on gifts, food and enjoying yourself with the family, while Christmas and Boxing Day are just lazy days free from work.

Lot's of leftovers in the fridge, no work and a lot of good TV on - or spend your time doing whatever else you like.

Few people even visit a church during Christmas - and the most who do, do so for the tradition of it or to enjoy free concerts rather then for genuine religious reasons, as most Swedes aren't that religious.
