Merry Ukrainian Christmas 30 12, 2:28am

@Rovarin

All I know about religiosity in the Faroes comes from this site. Humon has had at least one comic about that, implying that the Faroes are more religious then the rest of the Nordics.
And as I remember it, people in that comment sections was agreeing.
But I have no personal knowledge, so that's why I wrote "I belive?".

But as long as what you have is mostly the "cake"-people, that shouldn't be a problem. They are harmless enough as they don't bother anyone else.
It's the "or death"-crowd one has to worry about as they always try to force everyone else to live according to their views - which obviously isn't OK at all.

And I was reacting to you describing Christmas Day as "more holy" and used for more "churchy/religiousy stuff".
Now if you only meant that the religious people in the Faroes see things that way, then that's no different from Sweden.
But I thought you where describing the general attitude of all people on the Faroes towards the day - and if so that's more religious then in Sweden where most people doesn't do anything religious at all.
Neither on Christmas day or any of the other Christmas days.
The few "cake"-people we have obviously do - but the general rule is more what I described above.
