I'm actually fine with recycling the body as food. So long as the person died first and also didn't die of anything that could be transmitted to the humans who consumed it. Cannibalism is a lot less objectionable to me as long as it isn't a head hunter (IE murder for food) situation. But I might be one of the few who thinks that. In practice, I'd still have trouble eating a dead human though.
The body should be used for something, either science, fertilizer, food or all of the above. The persons dead, it stops mattering what the body is used for.
