@Zuperkrunch The kidnapping is barely mentioned anymore, and it never happens. They always just throw candy around, help the forgetful Saint Nicholas, and do crazy stunts.
I live in the Netherlands and the kids of colour have never been associated with the Pieten because of their skin colour.
And everyone wanted to be a Piet, because they were so cool!
And if you're going to hate, at least spell Zwarte Piet right.
