national socialism doesn't differ any more from socialism than democratic socialism. The modifier only points to the focus of the socialism. It's still socialism. Nazi Germany was still incorporating socialist policies; claims that Nazism or Fascism are "right wing" ideologies come from the fact that <i>in Europe<\i>, they are right of communism. But in the US, they are left wing because they are to the left of American conservative economic and social agendas. The American center is to the right of the European center.
