I can't remember where I saw one of the more "devastating" points:
Even i trump would get money for wall, it would take years to even start building it.
And by that point, there could be new president who cancels whole project and targets to money more useful thing.
So even if there's money to build the wall, it still not guaranteed that wall would be allowed to be build.
Extra point: in few years there certainly will be drones powerful enough to lift people => people could fly over the unmanned parts of the wall.
