Generally speaking, any argument based on what Turkey & Israel do is a little suspect. Those are not entirely normal countries with entirely sane politics, and they have terrible relations with their neighbours.
Now, Hungary does fence off its border sometimes, but that's because of authoritarian politics.
And Greece has its own issues with Northern Macedonia, Albania, and, okay, everybody.
But the USA-Mexico border is supposed to be different. The cultures are related, the countries are at peace, there's a lot of movement back & forth--why is there such a constant whine for a barrier?
