If you're going to blame anyone, blame Austria-Hungary.
-Hitler was born there
-His dreams were crushed when he was rejected from the Vienna art school
-He got his Nazi ideas from being homeless in anti-Semitic Vienna, where he heard about the Nazi party

Don't blame Germany, blame the Vienna School of Art. If he had been accepted, he would have gone on to be an artist.
