Romanian seems a beautiful language, and these expressions are very interesting. One of the ones for "to be drunk" caught my eye in particular - "a se căli" - because it reminds me of an expression we have in Czech. The verb "kalit", whose meanings include "to quench" (as in perform quench hardening) is used by young people to mean "to party" or "to go boozing". I don't know if it's a coincidence or if it's connected somehow.
