Please post your proof that anyone of any consequence in Sweden is:

"patting each other in the back, saying "We're doing great! Much better than our neighbors!"

It seems to me this must be happening entirely in your own imagination - because I have certainly not seen anyone claim that.

But as I said - let's see what proof you can provide for this claim then.
