@Zeust there is natural park in Washington D.C called German American Friendship Garden..it dedicated to friendship of The US and Germany

Also North Dakota named it capital Bismarck after Otto von Bismarck

There even a German American day to celebrate the aniversety of when Germans first settle in America in October 6th
