Let's remember that the premise of this comic is that the country characters are based on the stereotypes other countries (particularly Scandinavian countries) have of them, and not necessarily an accurate emulation of people from that country.
When I think "South Korean Girl", I do mostly imagine the stylish, sophisticated, city-girl type. With well-done hair and makeup, a frilly loose blouse, a very short skirt, and high heels. (Probably a bit biased because these are the sort of girls having their picture taken most often, but that IS part of how modern stereotypes form).
