@KitFoxtrot The only real difference between Canada and the US for the campaigns is the US actually calls them campaign ads, Canada they just call them informational ads until the writ is dropped. I was seeing them last year for the election on September 20th, 202, sometime in June(pretty sure that the Conservatives had some get to know the leader starting in May even) while all parties were saying they were committed to making the current government work and that there would be no early election. Before the writ they do promises, after the writ is dropped, they go more on the offensive, it's not as bad as the US ones, but it is steadily getting worse.
