i'm not Black but I have curly hair and these two girls in my school are obsessed with pulling it. (not even just touching! they would sneak up behind me, grab my hair, and PULL IT!!!) it's so annoying and it makes me uncomfortable because i'm kinda scared of germs and they're putting their gross hands on MY hair without asking!!! so I definitely understand why Black people would be upset when people touch their hair without asking.
