Of course Sweden is a corporate slave who's agreed with his employer to wear a tie, but from Åland I had expected more resistance to that. Or is he taking it back off on his way to work but pretending in order to make Sweden happy? Ever the best boyfriend.

@Nyan I am! I'm weird for viewing the tie as a symbol of oppression. I think other people are weird for not viewing them that way, but since they're in the majority I don't get to dictate what's weird I guess ^^"

Just for you to know. I love neckties, wear them so often that even my daughter draws me with them, have a collection of 50+ . I am the only one in my company of 900 who wears them. I am a (little) boss. Not even the boss of my boss ever wears neckties in the office. Right now the "standard" of top managers is "casual / outdoor" wear like The North Pole (and of course an SUV to complete it). Everybody pretends to be "cool", "young", "dynamic", "agile". With my 3-piece tailored suits (I have 9 of them) I am the rebel, the weird guy, the absolute exception. The software developers wear all "caual" or "hipster" uniform.

Not much ago I got denied entrance in a disco because of my dress. *ONLY* punk, heavy, casual or hipster were allowed.

I do not feel that I am the fashion slave here around...

@EduardoSilva If wearing suits is what makes you feel good then of course that's what you should do I think. What you wear should be your choice and no one else's I may not understand what you enjoy about it, just like you may not understand what I enjoy about wearing more casual clothing, but ultimately we don't have to as long as we feel fine in our clothes ourselves! I'm sorry if my original comment offended you, I was unaware that people who enjoy wearing business suits exist ^^"
