I have no idea why Wikipedia has an Anglo-Saxon option, but this would be a fairly logical explanation :)
(Sorry for copying the characters from other satw comics, but I cannot draw to save my life)

It takes approximately 1400 meters of yarn to make a simple sweater and at least twice that to knit a "fancy" one. It also takes 4pounds of clean fleece to make the yarn.

Australia has over 10,000 beaches. You could visit a new beach everyday for 29 years.

I've always thought "English" was British and "Simple english" was the U.S.

One of the reasons Sweden has so many articles is because they have importet multiple Species databanks and have an article to virtually every species and it is great if you work in biology

This fan art is definitely one of my favorites on the site.

But am I weird if I think it’s a bit funny?

I checked online, apparently the reason Cebuano is so high up is because several separate people made bots to post Wikipedia articles in the language, to encourage people to edit them. Apparently, most of Cebuano Wikipedia is just one sentence blurbs.

Our language does not even deserve to be in the top 100 articles.
We have an impossible Viking gibberish language.

But at least it's not Welsh.
(No offence to Welsh people, but your language is even more impossible to learn than mine. Sorry)

If I recall, on the English language Wikipedia, unless the article about something American related (a small minority of the articles), the article has to be written in British English. All American related stuff is in American English so I have to agree with England's objections to America representing the English language Wikipedia.
