Vinland

I know it's unintentional, but the dark hair in a ponytail can as well be interpreted as a representation of Native Americans. So that's quite a clever feature, I think.

@EricTheRedAndWhite you know it's funny I always thought Sister Greenland could be the mom of OSOG and maybe Vinland's mom too
maybe after OSOG died Iceland and Sister Greenland wanted their second child to live in a more "hospitality" place but the whole bed thing happened

@AmericanButterfly I actually had a dark theory of what happened between Vinland and his brother OSOG...

So Vinland is well-known and very well liked in his town, he is loved by everyone and his parents who give him enough love and attention. OSOG, however. Was a different story...

OSOG wasn't well-known and was neglected by Iceland and his sister who favored Vinland more since he was perfect in every single way while OSOG was clumsy and wasn't very friendly like his brother.

One day OSOG finally snaps and kills his brother in a fit of jealousy, he poisoned his brothers dinner. Hence why demon cat Vinland is scared of that bed, it was the exact same bed he died in.

OSOG was guilty of killing his brother and didn't receive the love and attention he wanted from the Icelandic siblings, so after a few days he committed suicide.

Btw they were just 13 when this happened, and when they got the chance to be reincarnated, OSOG refused. Because he thought that he didn't deserve it after what he's done, so that's the reason why Vinland is the only one as a demon.

Mabye Vinland got killed for having weird eyes, idk. It was a messed up world back then so maybe he got executed for having red eyes and people thought he was the reincarnate of the devil/evil idk.

@tinatulip34 I deliberately did not use the design because white nationalist and racists have used that flag and I wanted to separate the historical Vinland from the "white pride group that has nothing to do with the settlement besides the name) I know the green flag wasn't designed to be a hate symbol but it has been adopted by far-right groups including skinheads and I just don't want to explain why I choose the old never used Iceland flag

to be honest I like the idea of Vinland NOT being a mini version of Iceland like Christiania and Fennoswede are to their fathers
though I wanted him to inherited Iceland's sparkes (I guess it's genetic) or Iceland just put sparkles on his kid

I'm glad I gave Vinland, Iceland's old unofficial flag cause I really like it and plus Vinland isn't alive anymore or at least not "human" and the flag isn't being used so might as well give a dead colony a flag that isn't used anymore

maybe I should have made Vinland's hair shorter? only gave him long hair so the shadow can look like a tail
