Eh, Tynwald, Tonga, & the Papacy are older.

It really matters what how you define continuous government. However, by at least *one* definition, it qualifies as the oldest, as I recall.

That said, that's only current. Other historical governments may be longer.

And considering how things are looking, it may be losing that 'current' status over the next few months/years.

The current 50 stars version will soon be turning 65 years old, by far the longest iteration it has ever had, followed by the 48 stars version used during both World Wars.

A neighbor used to hang a flag on his fence that consisted of a US flag and a pro skin-blob slogan.

The flag had 11 stripes, (not 13), and 38 stars, (not 50).

Conclusion: Skin-blob supporters can't count.
