"Hi guys I heard we're having a party"Iceland is a one of the main characters in SatW, and is a part of the Nordics and a Scandinavian who lives outside Scandinavia. He is almost always shown with blue ski goggles on. Iceland is a bit narcissistic, and he is considered "pretty", because of his sparkles. This country is quite a daredevil. He enjoys parachuting into active volcanoes, and frequently beats demons out of his house with brooms and rolled-up newspapers. He is very friendly most of the time, but he is never afraid to use any means necessary to vent his fury (such as cars and volcanoes).
In spite of caring very much for his looks, he is not very feminine at all. He barely gets injured in any sort of activity (for some reason he can survive within lava in volcanoes) and is always up to a physical challenge.
He is respected among the Scandinavians but not always considered an official member. Other countries find him quite peculiar sometimes, such as his traditional food which includes fermented sharks, sheep testicles and a sheep's head (Sviðakjammi). Despite this, the Nordics like him.
He does not have any children alive. He once had children called Vinland and (original) Greenland. They are all dead, but Iceland seems to have gotten over his loss - it is even hinted by Iceland himself that he may have murdered them. He is Norway's younger brother. He also has a counterpart called sister Iceland who is also very beautiful and adventurous and is very fond of horses.
He was not satisfied with the results of 2009 Eurovision contest, believing that he should have won instead of Norway since he claims that his song was more artistic.
He is shown to be rather insecure, having several huge cars. He often gets the brunt of Denmark's and Netherlands' obsession with bicycles.
