@Zenobia Gotta admit Canada should be up there, but so should Russia. I think the best aurora borealis I have seen were in Canada. While I have seen a lot in Finland they were never as clear lined as I saw there. They looked like freakking curtains hanging on the sky.

@Zenobia We have special tours in Canada for Japanese tourists, because it's apparently good luck to conceive a child under the Northern Lights.

Aa... You need to add Russia, Alaska and Russia, and then Antarctica with Southern Lights, before best Auroras can be decided...
There's a Finnish Hotel where you sleep in glass-iglu and even get notified of the Lights in Rovaniemi. Did Norway do anything similar? A way to watch the lights while comfortable in bed...

Their was massive hype in the English news, as we had an Aurora Borealis in Yorkshire. The scots got nothing. HA

Finland's is better

Norway is technically the northernmost of the Nordic countries (Not counting greenland)

Tasmania I hear has pretty good trousers.

@AussiePengwin Tasmania has a latitude of only 41ºS, so no, auroras there are extremely rare.
