You know, I don’t always feel like I got the characters right but when I learned those approval button machines you see in stores like IKEA were invented in Finland so people wouldn’t have to voice their opinions even if they were good I couldn’t help but think my Finland isn’t entirely wrong.
@Dayvi Can you make a comic about how different countries say "did you get hungry", and greece says peinases and everyone starts looking at Greece and then Finland just jumps in and yells "PERKELE"
Stupid Sweden, if he is currently liking the way things are, do not question how he is expressing that like, as doing so will instantly cause a dislike. Or well, hearing your sing-songy voice in general.
I can't figure out how Ikea stays in business. Between failing to include enough screws to put things together and the barely better than cardboard construction, I haven't bought anything from them in more than 20 years. I'll gladly spend more money for something that'll last me decades.
@Nihil Are they really missing screws? I have seven pieces of furniture from IKEA, all of which had exactly what they were supposed to include, if not even extra screws. I have one relative who has bought a whole lot from there, and I've helped assemble much of it. I have helped friends with their purchases as well. There was never a case of a single missing screw. I bet many of the cases of people missing small parts is because they are folks who have never personally put anything together and are personality wise careless in such matters. So, they either lost screws or couldn't understand the instructions and thought there were missing ones. Of course with millions of units sold, there will always be cases of errors, that's natural, but I very much doubt as much as the meme would have you believe.
Now, I have built solid, wooden furniture from scratch in my workshop, so I'm not going to say IKEA stuff couldn't be better quality wise or that the cardboard construction wouldn't be hilarious, but that's a different matter entirely. They give you exactly what you pay for, after all.
