Only for romantic or romanticish relationships in Sweden as well. Exept for the closest family, but aside from sposes or girl-/boyfriends, it will not be on the mouth and will mostly be from parent to child.
This reminds me of the first time i met a friend from France. i didn't know at that time it was custom, so after the kisses, i told him "Dude, im sorry, but i don't swing that way." he freaking lost it XD
In Hungary, I remember a divide between districts in my Uni Town: in Upper Town of Szeged you give three kisses, starting from your left. In every other district you give two, usually starting from your right. This leads to much confusion and situations commonly referred to as "the dance of the cobra" where two people are trying to decide how many kisses would be appropriate and what side to start with, ending up bobbing their heads in an amusing manner...
In Arabic, the only difference between the words for boyfriend and girlfriend is the vowel at the end. If you mess it up, you'll look gay, and in a lot of countries that speak Arabic, you can be executed if you're gay.
have you ever thought you were going to hug someone but they were just trying to high five you so you stop and he opens his arms for a hug but you didn't get it and high fived both his hands and then he gives you a confused look and you get confused too and do a japanese bow for no reason accidentally headbutting the other person, knocking him out?
Well actually, in France the number of kisses to greet eachother kinda depends on where you live... we usually kiss twice to say hello, except in some part of the south where it's usually 3 times. But in some places the rule can be to kiss once or even 4 times...
It's usually awkward to greet ourselves when we travel from one place to another too...

If Finns kiss, then penetration is expected to follow.
