Russia is a male character introduced in I Want Oil where he tries to plant his flag on land between Canada and Greenland for himself. To the anger of Denmark and America. This lead Denmark to try and attack Russia with a toy plane this freaked out America who shot the toy plane in the process. When America called the Scandinavian countries communist when they were arguing about health care, Sweden told Russia that,
"He's on to us master Russia," Russia stared at them while he was saying this, petting a white cat he was holding in the process, Russia has bit of a dark sense of humour and enjoys watching Scandinavian comedies about drugs, depression and alcohol abuse, he also smiled smugly at the thought of Italy being his bitch, and liked to hold on to Bornholm before returning him to Denmark. though Russia handles himself well and is extremely confident, he's horrified of Åland and when he's drunk he become obsessive over his lost countries, for example, Finland, drunkenly begging them to come home with him. Though Russia and Denmark fought over oil previously, in the first comic, the two of them get along very well, and as a child Denmark preferred Russia over England.
Russia has long grey hair covered by an Ushanka without ear flaps and wears a modern day Russia flag that has long sleeves and white cloves.
