Dark Sun

People rented hotel rooms 16 years in advance to see the total eclipse on the Faroe Islands, so the people who were too slow had to rent rooms with private people, which didn't come cheap. And to top it off, it was overcast on the day of the eclipse.

I remember lots of people did the same thing in Svalbard. Many people ended up in tents outside and had to beware the polar bears there. I think it was pretty could there too, but I'm not too sure though :P

seeing as this is a comic strip about the Faroe Islands might as well leave a very good clip of it happening with some local music to accompany it, which has been translated by guy in the comment section of the video for anyone that cares enough to read about the lyrics.

I watched it during Maths class! Everyone was really excited and our maths teacher had live coverage on the projector.

One time I was able to see a solar eclipse, and sadly, it was only halfway covered. But it did get noticeably darker.

Come on, America! If you could have waited 2 more years you could have seen it from your own country!
